How the British opened their society to Muslim immigration from 1947 onwards, to make the Muslim a threat to civilized life in Britain preparing the making of Britain in to an Eurabia (European Arabia) ______________________________________________________________________________ Describing a ceremony for collection of the jizya, the 13th century Shafi’i jurist an-Nawawi writes: “The infidel who wishes to pay his poll tax must be treated with disdain by the collector: the collector remains seated and the infidel remains standing in front of him, his head bowed and his back bent. The infidel personally must place the money on the scales, while the collector holds him by the beard, and strikes him on both cheeks”. ______________________________________________________________________________ Immediately after 9/11, Tony Blair, the British Prime Minister said that Britain is ready to pay “Blood Price” to the Americans in the fight against terrorism. Now, coming from a Western head of state, this phrase is particularly blood-curdling. We rarely speak that way. But then 9/11 was a particularly nerve-shaking event. And especially for Brits, who have not reconciled to 1776 and regard the USA to be their own, metaphorically speaking. __________________________________ The caption says it all. __________________________ An attack on Americans would seem to many Britons, to be an attack on the British and vice versa. And this special relationship is reciprocated by our President George Bush too, when he said during a visit to Britain last year, “There is a bit of an Englishman in every American.” This seals the special relationship between our two trans-Atlantic English speaking nations. Britain is still waiting with teeth gritted and bated breath for its own 9/11, (7/7 was just a warning shot as was the first bombing of the WTC in 1993) Britain is still waiting with teeth gritted and bated breath for its own 9/11, (7/7 was just a warning shot as was the first bombing of the WTC in 1993) which hopefully will never happen. But then we know the Muslim enemy better to write-off any future dramatic attack on Britain, as the war on Terror progresses. The closest shave before 7/7 that the British have had was the bombing of the consulate in Constantinople (Istanbul) in Turkey. Before 7/7 we knew that the British Underground (Metro Tube rail network) would someday be a target of attack. &/& was when some of our fears were realized. But the worst may be yet to come! What can come next is the use of Sarin like nerve agent as had happened in the Tokyo subway. The British position vis-à-vis its Muslim population is even more vulnerable as against that of the USA. In Britain the Muslim community is much more numerous. While in the USA, it accounts for about 1 percent, in Britain it is about 7 percent with an even greater proportion in towns like Bradford, Leeds, and Manchester. Again, in Britain the Muslims have been around since the last two centuries, albeit the influx began as a trickle in the 1800s, which grew exponentially from 1900 to 1947 when Britain ruled Indian colonies. Most British Muslims come from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. There are also a few from Uganda, Kenya and South Africa, who originally migrated there from South Asia and from there to Britain. It is a saving grace that a significant number of British Muslims are educated, as compared to their counterparts in France (Algerian) Spain (Moroccan) and Germany (Turkish). The link between poverty and Islamic terrorism is at best a fictitious one An overwhelming proportion of British South-Asian Muslims come from Pakistani province of Punjab, the Indian province of Gujarat and from Bangladesh. As compared to the African Muslim migrants they are economically better off. But then the link between poverty and Islamic terrorism is at best a fictitious one. Mohammed Atta and his goons came from the upper crust of Middle Eastern society. Waves of Muslim immigrations as Laborers, Refugees, Spouses and Students The first wave of Muslims into Britain were as laborers from British colonial India. These sections lived on the margins of British society as day laborers, driver and menial workmen. They migrated in to Britain during its heydays of colonial rule over its Indian territories in the 19th century. So these Muslims were docile, and were overawed by the grandeur of the British Empire. They called it the Saltanat-e-Bartania. But the departure of the British from India, and the formation of Pakistan as a nation exclusively for Muslims torn off from undivided British ruled India gave the Muslims in Britain their first lessons in arrogance against the British. The Muslims are arrogant by nature, but they had been subdued in front of the British, since their empires the Mughal, Ottoman, Mameluk, etc had been defeated and destroyed by Europeans. But after the departure of colonialism, things began to change, and the Muslim began to return to their original disposition. He Muslim community in Britain was enhanced numerically by the waves of migration of laborers from Pakistan and later Bangladesh through the 1950s to the 1970s. The laborers after working in Britain for some years became naturalized British citizens and then they could legally get in their wife (or wives, since the Muslims could have up to four at a time) and their children. When under pressure from politicians like Enoch Powell, and the roughnecks like the Skinheads, and later the BNP (British National Party), Britain tried to curb the inflow of migrant labourers, the pattern of Muslim migration changed, rather the alibi to get into Britain changed from that of laborers to those seeking political asylum and asking for refugee status. These came from Pakistan, Uganda and Bangladesh. Thus by the early 1990s the Muslim population ion Britain had burgeoned to more than seven percent of the population. Added to these were students coming to Britain from all over the Muslim world. These students were the most volatile of the Muslim. They were young and many of them (the Shias) were under the influence of Khomeini and the Sunnis under that of Al Qaeda. This trend was more prominent from the 1990s. There were frequent soap box orators at the Hyde Park in Central London, asking passers by to understand Islam and embrace it. So far so good. But the British had their first brush with Muslim violence when race riots (this was a misnomer, since they were Muslim riots not racists ones) broke out in Leeds, Burnley, Bradford and other English cities. From a howling Jihad, we now have a stealthily creeping Jihad But the fundamental change in this Muslim invasion (of sorts) in Britain was that apart from the riots (and apart from what may come in the future), the Muslim migration was entirely peaceful, and done by exploiting the loopholes in the law. While all other Muslim invasions in history were undertaken by violent Jihadis who gave the option to people to embrace Islam or face a Muslim invasion, the Muslims invaded Britain through the customs and immigration counters! While their ancestors had come in as beastly invaders, these Muslims came in a stealthily like termites, whose entry was hardly noticed, till their first explosion took place in the race riots, and when 9/11 range the alarm bells. But the danger signal in Britain has still not started flashing Red. This unfortunately will happen someday, when the Muslim stage a successful dramatic attack. There have been tidbits like a car being stationed on a railroad crossing, casuing a minor mishap, and some Muslims being arrested for having chemicals and fertilizer that could be used to make a bomb. But so far, the saving grace has been that no real big attack has happened. Britain awaits with bated breath its future equations with its growing Muslim population. The point to be noted is that till the Muslim population does not reach a certain minimum mass, the Muslim adapt to the country of adoption. But they do assimilate the host countries culture. They like in Ghettos, away from the mainstream of that country. And when their numbers reach a critical mass, they start what Mohammed started in Mecca, the Razzias or Gazhawats (raids) against the non-Muslims. The Bradford riots were just the tip of the iceberg of such Razzias. The 7/7 bombings were the first warning shots of the Razzias There is more to come than meets the eye. Britain needs to watch out, or it could be in real peril, if and when the Muslim population inevitably crosses more than 10 percent. Britain needs to wake up from its slumber and while it is laudably participating in the War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, it needs to start the same war by deporting trouble-making Muslim of the Al Muhajiroun first, and move on to deporting Muslim political activists, and finally all other troublemaking Muslims (in fact most of them are troublemakers). The rest need to pledge that for them loyalty to Britain is above loyalty to Islam and the British constitution ranks higher than the Quran.
